My Little Yellow Bicycle!

Boardwalk Envelope Album Kit
Huzzah!! We have new products from Little Yellow Bicycle (aka LYB) and it is SO cool! I have always been the type to keep a journal when on any vacation, then turn the journal pages into a scrapbook once I get my snapshots developed...and after seeing the Envelope Album Kits by Little Yellow Bicycle I feel like I've been missing out all these years!! It includes 5 reversible envelopes, 5 double-sided cardstock inserts, 2 chipboard covers, patterned paper, and embellishments!! I love the breezy colors they chose for the papers in the boardwalk set - they really do scream beach and relaxation. The fact that each book has envelopes means that you can keep extra photos or other mementos tucked away. In the past it's taken me a while to put together scrapbooks after trips (maybe it's that I stay in that relaxed-mode for too long after..hehe) and I think these kits would help me a lot. As some of you may have noticed, I get a little wordy sometimes and the kits would be a nice way to display the top memories. (See below!!)
There's also another Envelope Album Kit called Pack Your Bags that has more greens and navy blues for those of you who may not be wild about pastels. While with the Boardwalk kit my mind wanders toward the beach, the Pack Your Bags kit reminds me of camping or a trip around the country. I love the idea of having a small album to remember a trip instead of the whole scrapbook shebang - the Envelope Album Kits are the perfect size to carry around with you. Not much of a traveler? These kits could also be used to show off children, pets, or whatever else you can think of! Stephanie noted earlier that you could use these kits as a friendship-themed birthday gift - all you'd have to do is find a few nice photos, write a few fun memories down, and you'd have a great little scrapbook to give to your friend!
Canvas Stickers
LYB also has canvas stickers that would be a superb addition to any project. They could be used as around-the-page borders...to hold down photos and other scraps...or even just to make something look cooler. I highly suggest checkin' out LYB's stickers. They're unique and a lot of 'em are sparkly, too!! Again, if you're crunched for time, this is the way to go. And...speaking of time crunches...I've got to be going! Please have a lovely evening!! Also, check out the examples below!!

Sincerely,
Sarah

Jenni Bowlin Studio = Vintage FUN!

One of my favorite lines in the vintage genre is Jenni Bowlin Studio. It has such a FUN and ENERGETIC feel! The products are extremely versatile and the colors are rich and inspiring! They make your artwork come alive with personality!

There are so many tidbits to choose from, you will want to collect them all! Buttons, Pearl Flowers, Mini Papers, Mini Bingo Cards, Journaling Cards, Calendars, Tickets, Mini Books, Alphabet Stickers, Chipboard Buttons, Butterflies, Crepe Paper Ribbon, Stick Pins and More!!!! There is even Core'dinations Paper with Jenni Bowlin Designs! Some of it was used in the background of this spectacular layout! (Layout example is courtesy of the Jenni Bowlin website, please check it out HERE for endless inspiration!)

Jenni makes scrapbooking, paper crafts, and altered art easy by color coordinating her embellishments and making them so versatile, you will find yourself reaching for them with every project. From the Jenni Bowlin Catalog, here is Jenni's take on her products. She says it best..."My products are indeed, merely building blocks. I designed them with the truly creative spirit in mind - to be interpreted in different ways by different people. Simple enough as not to overwhelm the novice, but with a creative edge that inspires the most seasoned scrapbooker. I believe there is something for everyone in this line."

I believe it too! I want to share my top three personal favorites with you...let me know what you think!

My #1 Favorite - The MINI PAPERS!!! The Mini Papers are actually the reduced patters of their larger sister papers, making them perfect for smaller projects - ATCs, Mini Albums, Card Making, Collages and More! WARNING - They are SERIOUSLY CUTE! You get 24 sheets of 4" by 4" paper in each pack. Four each of six different styles and they are very affordable!

My #2 Favorite - CHIPBOARD BUTTONS! You get 12 buttons total in each package (6 of the 1.5" and 6 of the 1"). With patterns that include playful polka dots, vintage inspired illustrations, classic milk caps (to die for;), your artwork will be anything but boring! I like to use them in the middle of big flowers or thread twine through the button holes and tie it in a bow. As you might guess, my "go to" is the Milk Caps, but I also love the Reader ones. I "heart" vintage kids stuff;)

Ok, one more...My #3 Favorite - MINI BINGO CARDS!! Once again, they are "mini" so that makes them automatically cute! The Mini Bingo cards are ATC sized, too! Each package contains 6 mini bingo cards (one each of six different styles)! They add an element of fun and nostalgia - you will find sooooo many uses for these!

***BLOG CANDY ALERT***Check out all the products we carry from Jenni Bowlin Studios HERE! What is your favorite? Which ones intrique you? Is there anything else you would like to see on this list? Inquiring minds want to know... Leave a comment and I will draw a lucky winner on Friday. That lucky person will win this Jenni Bowlin Assortment! Good Luck everyone!

I hope this "made" you day;) ~TERRA
